Philosophy of teaching

I believe that every child is a gift from God, uniquely created with their own talents, abilities, and potential. As a kindergarten aide, my goal is to support the classroom teacher in creating a warm, nurturing, and structured environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to learn, explore, and grow. I am committed to meeting each student where they are and helping them develop academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

I have a special passion for helping young children build the foundational skills that lead to successful reading. I believe that early literacy opens the door to lifelong learning, and I find great joy in supporting students as they become confident, capable readers who develop a genuine love of books. Through patience, encouragement, and positive relationships, I hope to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

It is a privilege to join the St. Leonard's teaching staff, and I look forward to partnering with students, families, and colleagues to help each child grow in faith, knowledge, and kindness throughout the school year.
